In 2002, he became Privateer's editor-in-chief. He directed the design and writing on all of the Iron Kingdoms and WARMACHINE publications from 2002-2005.

In 2006, Joe became the line editor for Archaia Studios' popular Artesia role-playing game, winner of the prestigious Origins "2005 Role-Playing Game of the Year" award.

Joe is also working on a comic book series slated for 2007, several collaborative novellas, and his own campaign environment entitled "Khaladune."
