Harold Arthur McNeill

Born: San Francisco, CA

Hometown: Portland OR

Notes: Harold Arthur McNeill has been driven to create during most of his 42 years. Never in accord with contempory plutocratic values, his work has often reminded many of other periods of history with which he more deeply resonates. His work has appeared in many contexts ranging from Magic and Vampire card games to alternative publications including Runa and Apocalypse Culture II and even a CD for Charles Manson. He has also embarked upon music/oratory under the name of Republic which was released by Storm Records by a long time friend Michael Moynihan of Blood Axis, which also applied some of his designs. He is of Scottish/Irish descent and has a living knowledge of the genetic basis of civilization, and suspects much of today's disfunction to be rooted in a conflict between one's DNA and one's wordview leading to self destructive behavior. Some of his favorite written works range from Friedrick Nietzsche' Thus Spake Zarathustra , Francis Yockey's Imperium, and more recently he was impressed by David Duke's My Awakening reminding him that only an open mind is ever truly free. Of course he also has a fondness for H.P. Lovecraft and Aleister Crowley. His musical tastes include The Moon Lay Hidden Beneath a Cloud, Blood Axis, Laibach, and many brooding wagnerian soundtracks, not to mention Johnny Cash and The Monkees. His military training was for nuclear weapons on Trident submarines in the U.S.Navy. An upcoming application of his painting will be on the cover of a limited edition of the political writings of Julius Evola called Men Among the Ruins published by Dominion Press/Michael Moynihan. He looks foward to contributing to the coming dawn of a world of honor being accelerated by the incompetence of the present, and knows that compromise is never a final solution. Nor does he endorse reactive intolerance from either end of the political spectrum . The future Authentocracy must foster truth to self beyond dogmatic conformity. Idelogies make great weapons but poor dwellings, for dogma is to life what arthritis is to dance.Being entirely self trained, his only attendance in art school was in a janitorial capacity. Inquiries regarding sculpture, images, or thought should be in email: thirdcamelot@hotmail.com

The following are various aphoristic slogans that have occured to me over time.
Best wishes, Harold Arthur McNeill.

Only those who care about the future deserve one. Compromise is never a final solution. Those who live in fear of repeating the past are condemned to be prisoners of it. Relativism is the theology of decline. Commercialism is the VD of capitalism. Compassion forthe weed is cruelty to the rose. Compromise is the god of the fallen. Mud makes a poor rainbow. To love diversity is to preserve it. A breed need not conspire to share traits. Authenticity above conformity. Freedom through ability. There is more ego than god in religion. A surgeon must know where the patient ends and the tumor begins. Economic predators are to business what sexual predators are to love. A knifes misuse does not refute its creative potential. Fear and hate are the illegitimate offspring of love. Self realization preceeds self government. When the motive is money the activity is prostitution. When you trust yourself to recognize the leader, you will no longer settle for a president. Honor fears not freedom of thought. One does not overcome the past by allowing it to determine the future. There is no freedom of press where advertising holds its leash. To the false truth is a terrorist. Congress is a combination of a brothel and a day care center. The world deserves better than judeoplutocracy. To inspire fosters desire, compulsion breeds revulsion. Beyond fear and greed shall authentocracy replace democracy. The path of health is truth to self. To think is of the mind, to know is of the soul. To forsake your highest hope is to contribute to its downfall. Humility forbids pessimism. The ego is not the soul. Logic and truth are not always neighbors. One need not judge others to determine their relation to ones self. Freedom from with freedom to coordinates diversity without compromise. The best way to conquer would beenemies is to see to their interests. Opposition only stands on our mistakes. Idealogies make great weapons but poor dwellings.

Dogma is to life what arthritis is to dance. All that is valid must be done from love. Every child is born pregnant with the future. Inspiration awakens, influence corrupts. No label can do justice to the god within man. Courtesy is a function of self respect.
