Is there any way I can contact the artist (Mark Gibbons)? I am absolutely impressed by the strong lines, and how his appearing 2d-drawings appear to be 3d, and the details, the techniques used....Holy Cows, I am deeply moved by his work, and I'd like to ask some questions about techniques, because whatever I do, it never looks like I want it to be; somewhat like his. My absolute dream is to make art-designs for both Warhammer and Blizzard, in which he beat succeeded. Mark Gibbons, you are an example and an icon.

I have followed Mark Gibbons's work since about 1993 in Games Workshop 's White Dwarfs. His pictures are my favourites of all fantasy artists. If I could draw like someone, anybody, it would be like him. Checkout his depiction of Horus and of Nagash, both for Warhammer/40k by Games Workshop. Also, now that he's working on Diablo 3, its just fabulous, Blizzard's art + Gibbons's art = Best.

Mark Gibbons was my favourite pencil artist back in the day, does anyone know why he left Games Workshop? I heard it was under a cloud, but i never found out why? The fact that Games Workshop don't use any of his drawings in their rereleases certainly supports the hint that it wasn't an amicable split!
