Matt Ragan

Email address: matt@reapermini.com

Home Page: http://www.thewolfhound.com

Born: June 23, late 1970s in the Republic of Singapore

Hometown: Lewisville, Texas

Notes: Born in the Republic of Singapore and hung out with all the other English speaking kids in the American Club and the Singapore American School until the mid 80s. Then moved back to the ancestral homestead (100+ years in the family) in Texas and went to school in the metropolis that is Chico, Texas (biggest industry a limestone quarry and trucking). Graduated from the University of North Texas with a degree in History and also from various programs at Southern Methodist University's (SMU) Legacy Campus in the Computer Engineering Department. Matt freelance writes for game companies (especially Reaper Miniatures) and programs using C# and the Micrsoft .NET framework as his "real" job.

The R.A.G.E. (Reaper Adventure Game Engine) was primarily his project and the revamp of the Dark Heaven Apocalypse Game into Warlord and from CAV1 to CAV2 has been his. Other games proposed and being developed include Victoria's Cross and other settings using the R.A.G.E. mechanics. He is also the guy that dreamt up the ReaperGames website and started Reaper down the road to a healthy web community and convinced his good buddy Kit to be the primary web-guy at Reaper (who now does the bulk of the coding). Additionally, Matt is the primary liaison between Reaper and its overseas printers and manufacturing contacts, especially those in Asia. He has travelled extensively in Thailand (his maternal homeland), Ireland (his paternal homeland), and Singapore (his birthplace) and eagerly awaits the opportunity to return to Hong Kong or mainland China.

Matt is fluent in English and knows enough Thai, Italian, and Irish Gaeilge to get into real trouble. He is currently learning Mandarin Chinese. His hobbies include reading history books, gaming books, painting miniatures, programming, target shooting (45 ACP pistol mainly), R/C Aircraft, and local church activities (The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints).
