Yan (Feb 3, 2004 - 2:27 PM CST): Someone gave me a copy of this they'd picked up at gencon some time ago to put on e-bay. It sold for ?106, now if there's that much demand an interest why can't anyone get a copy? Having looked through it, I can safely say it was one of the best made, designed, illustrated and produced games i've seen in a while. Can someone help the writers/publishers get this thing going PLEASE!
Jon (Feb 18, 2004 - 11:34 PM CST): I was lucky enough to get one of these books at Gen Con 2K and got it signed.. I have hardly used it as I was told there was going to be a Dune D20 coming out soon after I got back from Gen Con.. then WotC Lost the licensing I guess.. and never got around to doing it.. Sad too I was looking forward to it.

Adam_adamant (Nov 28, 2004 - 9:52 AM CST): Since some questions where asked
Last Unicorn had retty much completed the game when they where bought out by Wizards.
The released a certain number I think about 3,000 which where sold at Gencon as last Unicorn products.
Wizards wher ethen to convert it to D20 . Wizards decided that the Frank Herbert Estate wanted too much for the license and promptly shelved the project which till the Wizards option on the game franchise runs out is whe e it will stay.
As to why the artist was never paid I would guess they managed to lose that in the paperwork on the takeover probably entirely legally but no help to you .
xexyz: (Feb 19, 2008 - 4:23 PM CST) As far as I know, none of the listed companion books were ever printed, or even finished. The only book that ever saw production was the Core Rulebook.
