Several indexes that used to be in the databases are missing now. I remember Derangements and Bygones indexes for World of Darkness. What happened to them?

I’m glad these databases are still here because they are very useful. But the old format was much, much easier to use than this new all-pdf format.

I can’t tell if this would be a lot of fun, or overly complex. The hallmark of a good game it is its simplicity. The Cthulu bored game really turned me off because it was too hard to introduce to a large group. I was lucky enough to get to BETA test a new system last week called Disparity and that was really simple. We even managed to play it with noobs.

Chrismonkey! joshua! i have found the answer to your woes (kinda). this internet archive site took snapshots of billions of web pages over a span of time, and it has records of the old P&P database, though not all of the links were working. pick a date, and go way back! i feel saved by the internet, because for months i trolled for records of those pages, and here they are! good luck, here’s the link for a P&P search. hope it’s okay i post it.

I really miss the Merits and Flaws lists from the Old World of Darkness, used it all the time to help find what I needed.

I can provide spreadsheets for the raw data of most of the RPG index pre-crash, if you like. It might at least stop you from having to completely recreate it from scratch.
